Refreshments Chair
a. Vice President: This should be filled by someone who has already participated in some capacity in Chapter affairs, and is interested in moving up to assume broader responsibilities.
b. Banquet Chair: Our fund-raising banquet has always been our principal means of raising money for youth programs and stream improvement projects. The banquet committee will take care of most of the preparatory arrangements, but a chairman is needed to coordinate the activities of the committee.
c. Financial Resources: The Financial Resources chair oversees all fund-raising efforts, including those involved in the banquet.
d. Legal Officer: The holder of this position, normally an attorney, would be available to review any legal questions that may arise and to coordinate when necessary with the staff lawyer at national TU.
e. Legislative Issues: This job involves tracking the progress of legislative initiatives under consideration at the national, state and local level that affect coldwater conservation and trout waters, and informing our members periodically.
f. Refreshments Chair: The Refreshments Chair makes refreshments available at Chapter meetings and outdoor events such as stream work days.
